Does anyone here regret their career choice?
I greatly regret my career choice. I am in the point in my life where I have too many financial responsibilities to change careers. How do you cope with great regret over your career choice? Please respond because I really need to know how people who feel the same way I do cope with it

hey dude.......im not where I wanted to be when i was in high school....if i had gone with THAT career choice, id be sitting on a pile of money....or at least not on a pile of bills.
I moved 1500 miles from my home with my family to "try something new" because in 20 years I am not going to remember how much money I owed on this credit card or how much the loan was for that, i am going to remember the memories with my family. On my deathbed it will be my wife and children, not the bill collectors.
so for me, I just work hard at the job i have now, pay bills off as i can, but my money doesnt all go to bills, i wont spend the rest of my life paying just bills and not having anything for myself. I dont go buying 1000 tvs or anything, i just mean memory making things for my family. try to pacify the bill hounds and keep plugging away....but plug quietly and play loudly with ur family or if ur single, do the things ur enjoy doing....u could die tomorrow....ur soul should be happy with the life u led.
Lead it well and good luck.

Its never too late!
There is always something you can do, be it evening/weekend courses, volunteer work in something you want to persue at weekends, the list goes on, if it is really something you want, you can do it, its about making the time and having the drive to get there.
I have financial responsibilities, I want a career in alternative therapies and im getting there, its a long road to success and financial stability. I currently work in the family pet shop part time as well as working as a receptionist in a therapy clinic the rest of the time, both because I need the money, the clinic is useful as I also work evenings and weekends doing reflexology there, as well as doing home visits, taster sessions, charity days, all to get ny name out there. An also have done and plan to do more evening courses in massage, advanced reflexology and other complimentary therapies. It takes time to establish yourself in this line of work and can take years to get a stable client base, but im prepared to do what it takes to end in a job I enjoy.
I know if I put the work in it will pay off in the future. There is always something you can do to get where you want and if you want it that bad you will make sacrifices. If your not prepared to do that then you need to take what you have and make the most of it.
I hope you find a way!
