How many books do you read?
I read that, averaged out, Americans read 4 books a year. I consider it bad if I don't get through 4 a week! So, how many books do you read a year?
@ z I average about 3 a week, taking into account weeks I'm busy or reading really short or really long books. So, that's like 150 a year? That seems high...probably like 100. I'm a bit of a bookworm :)

I finish about 50. I have a bad habit of starting books and not finishing them.

This year, I don't know how much I will read total, but I've read around 30 so far, which, I think is okay-ish. I love to read when I have the time to. :) I probably finish 3 a week if they're really good and fast reads. I can finish a book a day if I'm really into it, but on average, I take about 2 days per book. And I do other stuff too, so that takes away from my reading (like softball, school/homework, chores, etc.).

I bet that statistic is not very accurate when describing the posters in this section! That's just sad, 4 books? I would estimate that I read a minimum of 12 a year (one for each month because no book ever takes me longer then a month but some are longer then others so I don't know how many I usually get through in a month).

I read about twelve books a month, give or take. It completely depends if I'm interested in the books. But I most definitely read more than four books a year, but I'm English, and I don't know what the average is for people in England xD

I don't know who took your pole but I don't keep track but I know I've read far more than 4. Found the Kindle software for the computer and now I have a lot more choice. Check it out there are free books on amazon.
