Should I buy and iPad 2 or wait for the iPad 3?

In all reality, I don't see that waiting for the iPad 3 is worth it.

If the iPad 3 is released, it will offer an A6 Processor, newer Graphics, thinner, etc. In this case, Apple just released the A5 Processor, it takes them about a year or more to come out with a new and improved Processor. Since they design the Processors they use in the iPad, iPhone, etc. it will be a while.

So, my point is, is that the iPad 3 shouldn't be out for a while, so buying an iPad 2, you will get your money's worth by the time the iPad 3 releases...

If Apple does release the iPad 3 soon, it will have the same Processor, same Graphics, same screen, same camera... etc. So, waiting would just bring you the same product with a new name. So, I don't see the iPad 3 coming out for another year or so. Apple still has 2 more products waiting for the release with an A5 Processor.

The iPhone 5 being one, was delayed release because the A5 Processor was over heating, so instead of the expected June, we don't expect it until September or October now.. And then, Apple will not release the iPod Touch 5th Generation until they release the iPhone 5. So, there will be a new iPhone, and a new iPod before there is a new iPad. And, if they delayed the iPhone from an overheating Processor, they may have the same problem when the iPad 3 is set to be released.

So, in a simple, short answer.

Get an iPad 2, use it, enjoy it, and the iPad 3 will be here once you've got your money's worth with the iPad 2.

If you want to write documents, download videos and do buisness + all the features of the iPad ... Get a Macbook... Any kind of macbook.

if i were you i wouldn't even look at apple get a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 you wont go back!

not to mention it can do alot of things ipads cant plus some. I thought the ipad 2 had a breathtaking screen until i bought my Samsung Galaxy tab. I can say from experience i had the first ipad and wow what a change the Samsung was soo much better. Actually most tabs out now are better then the ipads..shocker

the virtual keyboard is horrible - you will wish you never created any complex passwords

the WiFi connection is weak compared to my Sony and HP laptops

find a laptop instead - iPad is a waste of your money

i currently have an ipad 2 and it is awesome. the ipad 3 hasnt been announced yet so it is a beter idea to get the ipad 2

Well, if you always wait for the next newest model to come out, then you'll always be waiting or regretting. Just buy it. When the time comes, sell on ebay and buy the newer one if you feel like it.

You should get the ipad 2 from best buy and get the buy back contract (or whatever it's called ) and when they ipad3 comes out best buy buys it back and you get the ipad3 like getting your money back then getting the ipad3
