I had a look on the Steam Forums, and there's a couple of threads that might offer some different things to try (see links - I don't think you need to be a member to view them ?)

this happens to me too, i'm enjoying on a Mac however the servers are comparable. In my journey after approximately one minutes caught there it does not bypass everywhere else so in simple terms attempt yet another server. shop attempting until you get one, in simple terms wait and spot!
