Dropped iPod Touch in water?
I was FaceTiming with my boyfriend and I accidentally dropped my 4th Gen iPod Touch in my cup of water :( I dropped it in top first, so it wasn't completely submerged in the water, only about an inch - an inch and a half. The FaceTime stayed connected, but at first, my boyfriend couldnt hear me well. After about a minute, he could hear me again. But now, If you look at the camera on the screen, you can see the moisture on the inside of it and he said he couldnt see me well and that I was all fuzzy. Then, the image I was seeing of him started to get fuzzy and he suggested that the moisture was spreading to my screen. We ended the FaceTime and I currently have my ipod upside down so that the water doesnt spread. I dont have any rice, what can i do???? :( PLEASE help!!!

The best way to solve this problem is go to the apple store and they will replace it for a fee
(usally 40 to 50 dollars) that's the best thing you can do.

Before you do anything - TURN OFF THE POWER - it will stop any further shorting damage.
If you have a mains powered dehumidifier, (or can get access to a friend's unit etc) place the iPod at the back of the unit, with the power/data socket facing the air inlet. Leave for a couple of days to be absolutely sure, and it will work as good as gold (Fingers crossed). My wife's iPhone was in contact with water for an hour and started acting strangely (no sound, microphone not working, error messages appearing on the screen), so I removed the sim card after turning off the power and put it behind the dehumidifer. Within two hours the condensation in the camera lens window dried up, and by the next evening the phone was restored to it's former good health!

Try to make sure all the water is out. What my friend did was put his Ipod in a bag of rice, since the rice absorbs the water.Otherwise,it might be a technical problem so go to an apple store to get it repaired.

The best thing to do is to turn off your device and put it in a bag of rice and leave it there for a day or two that should soak outermost of the water for more detailed instructions though I would just google it
