So even if your answer was not in violation, the answer would not re-reinstated if the question was already removed. True?
So, Kelly, where is your answer going to go if the question has been removed too?

Always appeal. Even if just to keep the Yamster busy. The only times I have not appealed have been when I was really bad (the devil made me do it). It is your duty as a freedom loving American to stand up for what is right. Don't let them drag you down. If you don't appeal then the religious hypocrites win.

If you were not in violation of the ToS always, always, always appeal. I've a very good success rate with appeals. When someone removes a Q or A that was not in violation of the ToS they really do lose influence in the community and it is harder for them to remove anything again. There are some that have to get a LOT of people to also report (and usually have multiple accounts to facilitate this) because they are so untrustworthy in their reporting and there are others who are so well trusted they can delete with a single click - a privilege they can lose if they report incorrectly.
If you were not in violation, appeal and rest secure in the knowledge that you've dealt yet another body blow to the hordes of report monkeys that have been lately infesting Y!A.

No. Most of the violations I get are well deserved so I don't appeal many of them. I want vindication when I appeal, I'm not that worried about getting an answer reinstated. I like nailing the person that falsely reported my answer.
No. True.
AD: It doesn't matter.

Dude. that is in straightforward terms 10 factors, that isn't any longer the top of the worldwide. i'm sorry, yet provide up bitching approximately it and only bypass answer 5 greater questions, plus 3 for the factors you wasted in this question. it will actually take you under 5 minutes, learn that to the 300 and sixty 5 days you have been annoying a pair of single question. Sounds borderline obsessive to me. additionally i did no longer propose that to sound so rude, lol, i'm sorry. I propose I comprehend that it is the theory of the factor that's significant here. I actually do only no longer see what the enormous deal is with one question getting deleted and your factors lost. If factors have been money, i might comprehend, yet they actually only have no fee exterior of YA. sure, that is stressful. noticeably if the respond is properly concept out and thorough (and not a replica+paste answer like maximum of long solutions are). inspite of the undeniable fact that that is in straightforward terms an exceptionally trivial situation, and that i'm particular Yahoo gets many lawsuits, and that i'm additionally particular they are not refusing to respond to your criticism out of spite or simply by fact they are too lazy. it could have have been given lost, deleted, or only neglected. errors take place. it may well be impossible to respond to each and each physique with something yet a inventory answer. The question or answer by some potential broke the regulations, and it grow to be deleted and... properly, that's it. It probable had something to do with the cyber web internet site you appropriate to. I doubt they're going to answer you regardless of in case you do attraction it back, and that i VERY noticeably doubt they're going to admit they have made a mistake (no person likes admitting that, regardless of if it does cause them to unprofessional). actually that is only much less complicated to ignore approximately it, and proceed to apply YA like popular and be happy understanding you're helping human beings remedy their issues. isn't that what YA is approximately in any case?

It is a waste of time to appeal - your answer has already been removed. Even if it is re-instated, very few people will ever see it (the question will have aged by then).
I almost always appeal.
If I stand by while the Yahoo staff behave wrongly (and my answers are always fair, accurate, and well-researched) - then it would be my fault too.

True.
21 of my answers have been reported within the last 24 hours. I appealed them all but never got a response from Yahoo.
It's a Muslim plot. You need to understand how they operate. It's a well planned operation and it's time that Yahoo look into it.

No, I appeal every deletion and get about 95% of them overturned.
But true, an answer can't really be "reinstated" if the question was also deleted. But any points taken away from a deleted answer would be given back. And every time you win an appeal, the person that wrongly reported it, loses credibility in their reports, so their reports don't carry much weight. They report, and nothing happens.

Not a waste.
When YA gets enough appeals/complaints abt its broken Deletion system, they'l fix it.
You dont need a deletion to complain.
I just complained abt the Deletion system using the Send Feedback link below.
Any with a complaint bout YA should use that.
YA will eventually wise up then.

I got a VN that was so trivial that made me wonder if they had really READ my answer. Yahoo! Answers are not very logical a lot of times when they delete an answer and give you a VN.
