Should I be a hair model?

Okay so my hair dresser just told me she was having a hair show in september. She mentioned that she wanted me to be in the show but . . . . I have no experience in modeling or anything

I believe I can do good but should I tell her yes or no?

This is a volunteer job. I've done that during their Fall Hair Shows. The compensation you will get is the FREE hair styles, perm, cut, whatever they need you for. You're there all day. Breaks for snacks, and bathroom. Like all modeling jobs, they own you for that day 100% and you have no control HOW you want your hair cut, permed, dyed, or styled. They will take a photo, and they will win prizes and will be posted in Hairstyle Magazines and you wouldn't even see the result when that will be published.

During the session, if they decide to cut your beautiful long hair, that's their choice, you can either like or or hate it. Several girls were seen in the bathroom, crying and won't come out, because they're once LONG HAIR is now so short. There is never a guarantee, when something like this happens.

As for me? I was growing my permed hair and was stuck what next, and the Fall Show was the best option for my new look. I was one pleased volunteer, and I liked the new ME. For some, it's not so good for them. It's a gamble, but you'll never know unless you try. It's a risk you have to take.

You don't need any experience to be a hair model. The only thing you have to do is sit still and let the stylist do whatever they want with your hair. I was a hair model for Vidal Sassoon in college - I had no money and got my hair done for free all the time, and sometimes they also gave free shampoo and styling products, hair dryers, etc. You have to be willing to let them do anything with your hair - you have no say in the matter. I had an asymmetrical haircut, I had them bleach my hair blonde with black tips, I had long hair cut to chin length. As long as you are adventurous and want a fun new style, then go for it

If you are picky about your hair and only want a trim or natural colors, then don't be a hair model. At hair shows, the crazier the style and color, the better chance they have of winning a prize

First, understand that any one exchange into no longer positioned in this earth to be a type. this does not propose which you're no longer a tremendously woman, as even fairly some the prettiest human beings do no longer inevitably have type potential. regrettably based on the pictures you provided on your previous question, i do no longer think of you have the look an business enterprise could choose for. you're a stunning woman, you're in basic terms no longer a type. and that's extremely ok! businesses no longer purely seek for top and the perfect physique type, yet having the perfect face is extremely important. there is not any set primary on what constitutes "the perfect face", yet share is top. A type's face must be strikingly unique, quirky or beautiful in its very own ideal. I constantly say that having an uncommon, unconventional look makes the perfect type. Your face is gorgeous... yet very undemanding and widely used (no longer in a foul way). If anybody could be a type although, it could no longer be particular. i want to propose which you concentration greater on college and not get so caught up in the facade of repute. Love you for who you're, as your objective in life could desire to be far greater important that being a type (i.e. scientist, healthcare professional, educator, business enterprise proprietor, etc). And in case you purely so take place to love the industry, there are different issues you're able to do in trend different than be the type (i.e. dressmaker, trend customer, type agent/booker, trend author, publicist, photographer, etc). ideal now, you're truly youthful so get your coaching and complication with regard to something later.

If it's something you want to do, than do it. If you feel nervous about not having modeling experience, tell her you'd be willing, but you don't know what to do, and ask for some pointers. Or ask another one of her experienced hair models.

yes, why not. You just sit there whilst people look at your hairstyle. You don't really need experience for it
