Do you think Denny Hamlin will make the chase?

Yes... He is very positive about making the chase even after all the bad finishes. Just check out his twitter page all he ever talks about is staying positive and never giving up! He will make the chase he just needs some good finishes.

At first, I was skeptical as to whether Denny would make the chase or not as well. But I recently heard that he phoned up Dick Trickle for some driving lessons. Now, of course, Mr. Trickle had to find time in his busy schedule which involves tending the cattle and watching The Price is Right rerun marathons. So rest assured. Denny could not be in a better position to make the chase. Old Dick may be a little stiff nowadays, but that doesn't mean he can't still burn rubber.

With the wild card, yes, he has a fairly good chance still; although, the possibility of him missing it isn't at all out of the question.

He stated that "he wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell to make the chase without the wildcard." I agree: he just hasn't had a good year. Some of it has been bad luck, but not all of it. To me, it seems like he has lost a lot of confidence this year, which hasn't helped him at all. He really, really needs to have good, solid finishes in the next few races; if he doesn't, he may fall out of contention.
