If God was real, wouldn't He want us to worship a god (Himself) who did not hide from His people?

As I understand it, you can't see God physically but must see him spiritually. Jesus makes himself known to everyone in a way customized just for them.

I know what you mean though. Why wouldn't God do something like skywriting in fiery letters for about a week so that the whole world could not fail but see it? Yet, he did something like that in Lourdes and fatima, but how many of us just take it for a mass hallucination?

God does not hide. People choose to not see.

Seeing can be with sight. Seeing can be with understanding. Seeing can be other things as well. All are legitimate uses of the word seeing.

He doesn't hide. You have to have the heart to feel and belief and keep faith in Him.

One would think so, that He would reveal himself rather than requiring "faith" (belief without proof).
