Why do homosexuals call themselves "gay"?
"Gay" used to mean being in a "merry,lively mood". How did homosexuals capture the word for themselves? The rest of us have lost a perfectly useful word as a result. What's so "gay" about being homosexual?

Gay use to mean carefree. Which turned into uninhibited, so to describe someone as gay meant they were overly sexually active, this was hundreds of years ago. Though at the time it didn't mean homosexual, it eventually became associated with it because it was already an "insult" to the hedonistic, which being homosexual was considered.

Well, i was self centered, to be in Love means to be self centered, but i was no way a Loser, i topped that year my college and i receive one message from her, "that i am sure u will reach Heights."..did u learn that christian,it,s never too late to start learning , be an Atheist, u LOSER Christian .JAY JAY
