i have a question about the new xbox?

You can only use an Xbox 360 Slim hard drive for it. The Old 360 hard drive will not fit in to or on to the new models, You can still you an external hard drive Via USB though

YOU CAN use the old original xbox 360 hard drives on the new Slim Xbox 360. But you have to disassemble the old Hard drive and take it out of its shell. Then it just clicks right into the new Slim 360 but i suggest putting a piece of foam to hold it in sturdy because its not made for the Slim box. I am 100% positive you can do this. I have done it with a friend and it reads the drive and performs flawlessly. You can even find videos on youtube on how to do this. So YES you can buy a cheap 20Gb hard drive for the old xbox 360's and make it work on your new slim 360. Other than that you can use external Hard drives and usb drives they just have to be formatted for the xbox

the new 360slim was made with it's own style of hard drive, you would have to transfer everything from the old xbox using external hard drives or re downloading the information to the new xbox. if it is a friends xbox just keep the information you need on a formatted thumb drive and use that for its travel purposes
