You are in a foreign country and are eating at the house of a very important person?

They have very generously offered you a choice as to what you would like to eat. Your choices are:

Boiled Dog

Roast Cat

Fried Monkey

Stewed Rhododendron Leaves (Vegetarian Option)

You have to eat one of these dishes, as failure to do so would show disrespect and would greatly insult your host (who has friends in very high places and can make the rest of your life a living hell). So, which delicious option do you choose?

I do a lot of traveling. I eat what people put in front of me. I prefer not to know what it is. I never ask.

Have you ever had stuffed tarantula? It's yummy!

Although I'm not vegetarian, I'd choose the Stew. It sounds the most appealing out of the four; the cat being my second option ;)

EDIT: I just found out Rhododendron leaves are poisonous, I'm going with the cat - if you're wondering, I would feel bad about eating the dog since I make monthly donations to the National Society of Dog Rescue.

Stewed Rhododendron Leaves, obviously. Do they taste bad or something, because that would be the obvious answer. Or maybe I could insist that I was full and didn't want anything to eat and thank the person for offering. I'd instead suggest the other guests to gorge in to reduce any awkwardness.

which country..... while these dishes are available in some, they would never be presented as tastlessly as you have indicated. the Stewed Rhododendron Leaves would not even really be an option as they are toxic to the majority.

    I'd go with the rhododendron.

I'd go with the cat, but it sounds awfully dry.
