  • Spilled hemp seeds in car, would that be trouble at traffic stop?

I had a snack pack of spicy hemp seeds that I was eating, and was unaware I spilled some in the seat. While my boyfriend was cleaning out the car, we were debating if that would be problematic if a police officer pulled us over and happened to see them. My boyfriend says hemp seeds look just like marijuana seeds. Even if they were plain hemp seeds, unroasted, I wouldn't have gone to jail over that?

If anyone was or is a LEO, what would you do in that situation?

  • Unsure about undercover cop?

I'm going to try to be as detailed as possible.

Around 5pm today my family and I went out to the pool, we have a variety of resident cops in our condos, and every once in a while they come in to use the bathroom. Cops in Jacksonville usually wear black uniforms, but my boyfriend noticed this guy was in dark green with other normal cop apparel (radio guns etc).

Later I went to take the dog on a run and this cop drives up in a truck, asking me if I've seen anything suspicious. Him and another undercover cop have been and are going to keep scoping out the place for suspicious activity.( I don't remember exactly what he said but this is FL so there are drugs everywhere and there is always undercover work going on.)

He said he needed to jot down my name to put in his report/notes. And he needed my condo number. Well, I know giving false info to the police will get you in trouble, so I gave him my real info. Then when he was driving away, I saw he had Georgia plates (we're about 40 miles from GA).

He told me the other undercover cop was in a red car (and tonight there is a red car driving around with GA plates).

He looked mostly professional, and the truck and red car were nicer looking. It just seems weird that he told me they were undercover. Now he's at the end of the lane with his headlights on. And I feel stupid for giving him my name.

  • I feel lost on how to handle my dog, and now I feel like an unfit owner?

My dog has always been very hyper, pulls very strong (he's broken every single leash he's owned- even metal ones), and very hard to give commands to. He would never hurt a flea, and is wonderful with our toddler. I always though we took good care of him, and in every situation he is a wonderful playful dog.

Except with walking, and generally being on a leash, he goes a million miles an hour, in all different directions. I have tried training since he was a puppy, we've taken eight different courses to try and correct this, but absolutely no progress. Can dogs have ADD?

I take him on two walks, morning and evening. The one with my daughter in a stroller, in the evenings, is the frustrating one. I have to take my dog, because he's been in the house all day. And I can't leave my daughter alone... so we all gear up and go. Because he's so crazy, he's knocked the stroller over, he kicks and scurries dirt up at us (I guess to mark territory?), and I have to yank his leash over and over to get his attention, or get him to focus. I do feel bad though, because it's not a light tug, it's forceful, but enough to snap him out of it. It actually pulls him around a few inches each time. He has never even come close to chocking or acting like it hurt him, so I assumed I found something that worked for us.

Anyway today after he finished pooping, I went in behind him to bag up his poop, and he started flinging dirt everywhere. So with poop and stroller in one hand, looking away from flying dirt, I yanked the leash a few times with the other to get him to quit it. I didn't get to see how hard I had pulled him, but as usual he finally stopped. He didn't whine or whimper, and didn't act like it bothered him. So we all walked a little further when a guy pulled up in a car beside me. He lives somewhere in our neighborhood, but I'd never seen him before.

He said he was disgusted the way I had yanked my dog, and there was no excuse for it.

  • Are you high maintenence?

On a scale of 1 - 10, where would you rate yourself. Do you think it's a good thing to be where you are? What should the ideal number be? Are you male or female?

Where 1 is, you take a shower every other day, you haven't bought any new clothes in a year, and you have a cell phone that is around 5 years old or older.

And 10 is, you get your nails done every few weeks, you will NOT go out of the house without makeup, or doing your hair. It takes you over 2 hours to get ready every day. You have more than 20 shoes, and you buy new clothes on a weekly basis.

    I'd put myself at a 3, I'm a female.

  • I'm starting to get worried I was raped a few years back?

This was back in 2006, I had just started dating a guy for about a month. Me, him, and two of his friends went to the beach one night with a bottle of rum. (Stupid Stupid, I know).

We were starting to relax, and I remember having one sip of Captain Morgans, then a couple minutes later, I remember feeling extremely drunk, and just laughing hysterically at who knows what, then laying down in the sand and blacking out. It all happened in what seemed like 5 minutes, I never really thought about it till now, but I probably only had half a shot glass of drink. I feel like an idiot about all this.

I remember briefly waking up for maybe 5-10 seconds and it was dark and my hair was in my face, and I think maybe I was being rolled over. I think I was on a bed?

The only thing I remember for sure is the morning. I remember being back at my place, and having to rush to my class, feeling really yucky.

I alway equated it with a hangover, but admit I never made myself think about it until I started having memories of that 5-10 second awareness recently. Who even knows if I am just making up memories or what.

I eventually broke it off a few months later because he was just turning into a controlling jerk, with too much of a violent temper.

I am disgusted with these feelings and thoughts. I just hope I'm reading too much into this.

A few years prior I was sexually assaulted in an airport family bathroom, and that is a whole other boatload of stuff I just don't want to talk about. I just feel like I have a target on me. I have never told anyone, I could NEVER tell my family, it's way too embarrassing. My mom is so judgmental, I would never want her to know.

I just needed advice from the anonymity of the online community.

  • Hypothetically, whether you believe in him or not: You are forced to play a game of poker with Satan..?

Satan himself has challenged you to a single game of poker, but you are not playing for money. The stakes are simple:

If you lose, the Prince of Darkness immediately gains possession of your soul, along with the souls of everyone in your family.

If you win, you and your family are all assured eternal salvation, and Lucifer goes sneaking off in shame.

You can, however, avoid this game and the gamble involved by immediately giving your soul to the Devil. In return, he will not go near your family and they will all be safe.

So, which is it to be? Do you gamble the souls of you and your family, or do you sacrifice your own soul in order to save your family?

  • You are in a foreign country and are eating at the house of a very important person?

They have very generously offered you a choice as to what you would like to eat. Your choices are:

    Boiled Dog

    Roast Cat

    Fried Monkey

    Stewed Rhododendron Leaves (Vegetarian Option)

You have to eat one of these dishes, as failure to do so would show disrespect and would greatly insult your host (who has friends in very high places and can make the rest of your life a living hell). So, which delicious option do you choose?

  • Our neighbors are stealing our electricity, what can I do?

Our neighbors have had no electricity since they moved in (maybe a month ago). And the people that lived there before them, I don't think they had electricity either, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, we have an outlet by our front door, and one window and doorhole that looks out toward the front. But part of our wall is in the way, so we can't even see our outlet. The neighbors' door right across from us is right by that outlet. They come outside in the middle of the night and charge their phones there, but they watch out there doorhole, and if they hear us come out, they quickly take it back. They also use it throughout the day when they think we're gone. (we can hear them opening the flap all day long). And any outlet locks we buy seem to go missing. But we can't catch them doing that.

We can't record them doing this (because of our stupid dining room wall in the way). And the police, I don't think can do anything, unless we have proof. If we shut off electricity for it, our AC goes out as well.

They just deny anything, so talking is of no use. In fact I think it made it worse, because now they've started having their friends park in our spot for an hour or so when they come over. And I'm pretty sure it was those same neighbors that spit chew spit all over our truck. Yuck.

I haven't called the electric company yet, but I don't know what good that would do, it probably only adds $15-20 to our bill every month, at most.

  • Buying a house, with a huge down payment, but very little credit, advice needed?

I am interested in a house for $62,000, it's been on the market for 3 months without a reduction, so I could potentially get it cheaper (they bought it for $41,000 6 months ago). I have enough to put a $45,000 down payment down on it (I actually have a little more, but that is all I'm comfortable putting down), which is like a 75% downpayment. In my opinion that is pretty good, but I don't know if it's enough to make a bank take me seriously.

    Here's the problem:

I have very little credit, but it's all good credit. Right now I am a stay at home mom, and my boyfriend is the one working. We've lived together for 5 years, but we're not married, and he is not interested in getting married. He has BAD credit racked up from years before he met me.

Is there any way to make this work so I can get this house? Is the down payment enough to encourage the bank that we're serious, and if we fail to make a payment, they can take the home? That would sound like enough collateral to me.

Help! What should I do? Any advice?

  • After I die, I really want to be fed to animals, how do I do this?

I'm dead serious, and I can't find any answers online. I always found the Tibetan tradition of feeding people to birds beautiful. Like nature's recycling process.

I think it's weird most people want to rot in a wooden box, or in the ground. Call me crazy, owell.

I highly doubt any surviving family or friends would do me the honor of piecing me up, but does anyone know of any place that will do this? Money is of no option.

Also, are there any legal issues that I should be worried about.

I'm still on the younger side of the hill, so hopefully something will come about one day.

    Thanks for any ideas. :)

  • How to handle the smoked cake situation?

My step mom brought over a cake she made, and all the party food she made for my daughter's birthday. It was really nice of her to put in all of that effort for the party. I sincerely do appreciate her effort, there were tons of kids to feed.

And my boyfriend and I knew she and her husband (new husband, not my dad) smoked, like chimneys... BUT we didn't know they smoked IN the house. I suppose they started recently? Idk?

None of the kids or other adults ate any of the food, and my daughter refused to eat her cake. (I tried the cake and I couldn't believe it, it tasted like pure cigarette smoke, I tried not to throw it up, it was so strong.)

We ended up ordering pizzas, and everything turned out fine party wise.

But my step mom left the party, I think her feelings were hurt. I heard she was mad at me for not encouraging the girls to eat it anyways. Kind of unfair.

So on one hand, she should really put two-and-two together, so I just want to ask her what did she think would happen? Can she seriously not taste anything from all that smoking? On the other hand, I feel so bad for her. Should I call her and apologize?

My boyfriend thinks she should call me to apologize?

  • Would you sacrifice 6 years of your life to become extremely attractive?

Another question gave me the idea. Men versus women. I'm hypothesizing more women will say yes versus men.

If you had to cut 6 years off your life expectancy, but in return would become utterly beautiful, would you consider it? (if you already consider yourself as physically attractive as one could get, then would you trade 6 years off your life to not turn fugly?)

What about taking 6 years from a strangers life??

  • Having a gun rigged at your door, is that legal?

My auntee lives in a rougher part of town, and her neighbor had someone break in a few years back while she was sleeping and supposedly rape her (that's the rumor anyway). Nobody has been charged, and I don't think the police even have any good leads.

So now she keeps a loaded gun in front of her door at night. She doesn't have any kids or pets. If the door is forced open, it's rigged so the gun fires right at the door. She says it gives her more peace of mind, but I don't know? I definitely don't blame her, since she looks really scrawny, and no boyfriend or husband.

    But is it legal?

  • Wouldn't you be tempted to know it all?

I had a dream last night and I was with an extraterretrial being. It gave me the chance (in my dream) to know everything. How did we get here, what happens after we die, how did everything start, if it even did, etc.

In my dream I turned all the knowledge down. When I woke up, I was mad that I didnt ask for it, even if it was just to find out what I would think it was. Then I thought, if I knew the truth about everything, then life would be dull. I wouldn't want to know everything.

Just curious, if you had the chance to learn the truth about everything right now, whatever religion you have, I'm sure you have many questions. Would you want it? All or nothing? Would you tell anyone else? Do you think it would be good to have it, or not?

  • It doesn't make sense, freewill in Heaven doesn't seem safe?

If God's angels all had freewill in heaven, after a while a lot if them got together and rebelled. They're supposed to be moral and righteous, but they changed after a while.

After those who die go to heaven, I'm assuming God will give freewill so everyone isn't a robot. What makes everyone so sure that someone won't sin in heaven like Lucifer and other angels did? Even after millions of years?

Once you're in heaven and sin, do you go to hell? If angels happened to do it, why not mere humans?

  • No such thing as soap at the store?

Someone told me that most soaps at almost any store are just detergent bars and rough on your skin, not actually soap. They said the FDA regulates how companies label their product, and if it isn't actually soap, then legally the company can't advertise the word soap on their item.

I went to the store, and sure enough I didn't see any that actually said soap, they said beauty bar, body and face wash, body scrub, cleanser, body bar..... Nothing said soap. Not ivory, not dove, not even burt's bees.

I've found a local shop in town that sells a product that says soap on it, but it's $5 a bar. The lady that sells them says they're wonderful on her skin, but because it's real soap and not a detergent bar, it has lye in it.

Are all these things true? I'm kinda freaked out either way.
