I have not experienced paranormal phenomena through the phone, but I believe it is possible.

Personally, I believe our consciousness, thoughtwaves, spirit, soul, is made up of energy, and when we die physically, that energy has to go somewhere.

I think there are two things going on. First, with the person saying, "Hello! Hello!" - it is probably only crosstalk when signals transfer between 2 phone wires. That is normal, though annoying. It often happens when you are calling someone. That problem can be corrected by the phone company.

The second problem may be similar to one I had a few years back. I had made a call home that I was not supposed to and felt really bad about "breaking the rules". After that, whenever I picked up the phone for the next week or more, I heard, "I'm not really supposed to be calling, but ..." which was what I had said at the time. Unplugging the phone completely, waiting a few moments, and plugging it back in fixed the problem. I do not know how this happened, but since unplugging the phone fixed it, I assume it was not paranormal.

I do not know that your problem was the same, but it well might be. I wouldn't concern myself about it if the same solution works for you.

Sure. It could be paranormal, but may just be some quirk in the phone system. Most of the time, these things turn out to have (other) natural causes.

Bad connections. Either your imagination filled in for you what the noises were, or your Mom was in psychological denial and thus filtered them out. No, you're not going crazy, you are simply more receptive to alternate possiblities than your mom; thus your imagination, or actual perception of a real conversation between two persons through the cross-talked lines that your mom filtered out; but no, this is not paranormal activity.

you're saying which you quite choose extreme solutions, yet in basic terms from people who do not understand what they're talking approximately. that may not a stable thank you to income. there is not any such element as a mystical entity or adventure. you're giving a stable person-friendly description of a hardship-free symptom of schizophrenia, however. that's run in my family members for generations, and it in many cases starts off interior the teenager years. If left untreated, it could make your existence a residing nightmare. i'm hoping you will possibly have a extreme communicate with a medical expert approximately this if it keeps. stable success to you.

No offence, I think you've got a mental internal problem. Or it is paranormal activity, call TAPS or someone.

Something similar happened to me two months ago. I decided to go to sleep, and as soon as I go under (the sheets), I received a call from my girlfriend, (who wishes not to be named). I say "hello", and nothing but weird voices like your experience. After that, I heard reasonble noises and bumps and fizzes, but me being me presuming it to be a spirit. The day after I realised the noises to be the house expanding ONLY in the night, which is why you don't hear them in the day for that reason AND because you have ppl talking.

EDIT 2: I'm sorry, I take back me calling you mental. Sorry. Thanks from Channel Atlantic.

It's a problem with your telephone exchange and the lines leading to it. It's called "cross talk" amazingly enough, and is simply an electrical signal coupled into your telephone line through "induction." The wires run in a big bundle and signals from one line get coupled into another line.

Call your phone company and see if they can recommend a fix for it.
