Design your own x-men?

Hi I am interested in idea's for designing and creating your own x-men mutant. Users can only have one x-men new recruit.

Here is an example.

Ethnicity: African American

Powers: Catscratch can turn into a cat, pretty simple, she can also unleash claws from her fingers. She can talk to any species of cat. She also has cat like powers.

Bio: Born due to a one night stand her mother who was 17, a mutant herself, met the father a mutant. They split up, leaving Gina's mother Cindy to bring up her daughter alone. That was until Gina was 12 when Cindy met 42 year old secret mutant hater Hector. They married when Gina was 15. Two years later she revealed she had powers. She was exiled. Little did her evil step father know his wife was also a mutant. She joined the x-men.

Strength: The ability to befriend anyone

Weakness: Her Cat form has its own personality, that can make her a bit of a rebel girl.
