MOST FUN COLLEGE TOWNS?
It's time to decide on a college for next year, and I want to be in a city or place that is fun for college students. Or just a very beautiful place... I know that's not what college is about, but I had a horrible time in HS and want to make college count. Any suggestions? =]

check out James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
its in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, so it's the definition of beauty. But it's also just a few hours from the Atlantic Ocean, Baltimore, and DC. Also, each year the city (and police) allow the students to basically overrun the south side of town and throw a huge block party.
A while back JMU was the number one D-1 school in the nation in the beers consumed per student category.

You should not select a University only for the parties. You should select it for studying. However, I will answer your question since you had a bad time in H.S. It really depends on your preferences. The college you choose should be located in the city you want to be in. For example, I want to be in the bay area, somewhere close to San Francisco. That is why I'm applying to Berkeley and Stanford for graduate school. If you want to go to a city like New York, Miami, or L.A., then I suggest NYU, Miami, or USC respectively. If you want down south, go to Texas(Longhorns) if you want midwest, Ohio-State is your school. It's really up to you where you want to go. Also google, "best party schools."

what's low-priced and exciting in a college city different than partying.? We used to have some thing low-priced and exciting at our college...regrettably, she dropped out of faculty and left city.

If you are just going to party and not study and fail all your classes, don't go to college.
