Is it true that you can watch DVDs from other regions on your computer, but after a while your computer will?

But after a while your computer will stay locked in that way?

I'm trying to watch a DVD I bought from China on my computer in America, and I was just wondering if I watch it, will my computer only play DVDs from China from now on, or can I still watch other DVDs from the US?

Thanks for all the help in advance!

yes it will region lock, if you watch a different regions dvd then switch back and watch another regions and keep switching back and forth watching different region dvds.

you do get about 6 different goes at it before it locks to one region though and it tells you on screen how many different attempts you have left.

this is no big problem though because you can download 'dvd genie' off the internet and this will stop the lock from coming on even if it has just locked as well.

    download from: http://download.cnet.com/DVD-Genie/3000-2139_4-116...

have fun and don't worry about it.
