Can someone suggest me the best SLR cam in a budget of $1000, including lense? :O?

My D5100 just arrived and i'm extremely happy with the camera. The grip feels great, the quality of the photos is awsome, and it has excellent low ISO features. I highly recommend this camera.

What is patriot?

Nikon D5100, Canon EOS T2i, T3i and Pentax K-r would be the best. They all come with a kit lens which is good for most stuff.

Photography as a profession will also require you to later get some lights, flashes, studio equipment and better lenses after time. So work hard, keep on learning and read ;)

The T3i features Canon's newest DIGIC 4 image processor and a native ISO range from 100 to 6400 (expandable to 12800). Exposure metering uses a dual layer 63 zone sensor and AF is accomplished via a 9-point system with a cross-type center point.
