Yes, it's compatible with Live but that doesn't mean that it will necessarily have open NAT.
First, I would make sure the firmware on your router is up-to-date. Check on Netgear's website to see if it is.
Next, have you gone through the Live Connection Solution that's listed on that same page you gave us? If you haven't, run through it. You may end up needing to do the manual setup of the port-forwarding.
