anybody remember who liquid cooled a shovelhead motor?

it was done years ago and I think it was the guys at Easyrider Magazine or maybe Arlen Ness? I cant remember and cant seem to Google it,i gues google doesnt know everything!

Update:

I know all about the Nova project [ninebadthings should check that out!] no this was a shovelhead motor with water jackets machined into it! It was a custom project.

Update 2:

I know an oil cooler works just fine Im just trying to find out who built that ugly thing!

Are you talking about the Harley Davidson NOVA project?

I remember one done in the 80`s. In one of the magazines at the time. You got me wondering so I`ve been looking online but I can`t find it. Seems to me that it was uglier than homemade soap, but very interesting.

You know of course that an oil cooler would be easier right? (sorry I had to say it)
