they put way too much seasoning for me. Beef jerky won't do your body the good that fresh lean meat will do. Dried meat has lost the properties that are helpful to the body. Eat fresh food - that goes for fruits and vegetables as well as animal products like meat, eggs, and dairy. Eat it while it's in season. During the winter, eat food that was canned or bottled while it was fresh. In these modern times, there is no reason to eat old dehydrated and processed artificial food when we have the technology to eat fresh all year. Do organic when you can.
