I want to own a horse maybe two.I have 1-1/4 acre for pasture. is?

Is this enough land for pasture if I divide it and rotate the horses and suppliment with hay in your opinion? I spoke with a vet about it and she assured me it was plenty. I would divide the pasture into three or four sections and I already have a barn for hay storage and room for a small two stall barn not included in the acreage for pasture.

That should be enough room, depending on the growing conditions you might have to supplement hay.

you need to check with your town zoning laws to see how much they allow for a horse
