Unemployment is not paid for by the tax payer, it's a tax payed by business, and as a result they take it directly out of your payroll every week.

Unemployment is not welfare, people that work directly pay for this, and you have to meet quarterly requirements to even draw. If you didn't work the proper quarters then, there is no money for you to draw.

If you work at Wal-Mart, get laid off someone working at McDonalds or anywhere else is not paying 1 cent of your unemployment benefits - if you even qualify.
