Some hamster questions concerning the care of the hamster? (dwarf hamster)?

I have only 2 questions concerning the caring of the hamster. (dwarf hamster to be exact)

1) How many times do you have to clean and replace the bedding with new bedding?

2) When school starts which is this Wednesday no one will be home, so should i put like 2 mini bowls of food or is one fine because I'm get home from school around 3? And also the water bottle thing will be full so that should be fine, right?

You should be replacing the bedding once a week or until you can take the smell. Dwarf hamsters sleep the day away so one bowl of food should be perfect! Just make sure there enough before you go off to school! Make sure you give him/her fresh water everyday so it doesn't get stale. Good luck! (:

well.. i have a hamster too... and trust me you should be fine with water just make sure theres enough in there before school and check after school!

i reccomend changing bedding 1ce a week but every other day just sprikle a handful of new bedding in the cage.

you could feed your hamster too bowls... but i think 1 would be fine.. try one and if her bowl is empty when you come home then give her 2 :)

Just be sure to check up on it after school!

    Hope that helped :)
