Can I trust CT scans?
3 years ago my wife had a CAT scan and showed emphysema and stomach ulcer.
2 years ago she had another scan and it showed emphysema and diverticulitis.
1 year ago the scan showed diverticulitis and hernia.
This year the test shows hernia that was already removed but the emphysema and diverticulitis are no longer showing. The first two tests were done at different facility and except for the stomach ulcer and acid reflux she never had any other symptoms related to emphysema or diverticulitis.
Are the CAT scans reliable? Or it's just a miracle?

I am definitely not a professional- however, I wonder if it is because different people are reading the scans? Maybe you should see if you can get copies of all the scans and then have someone very knowledgeable read them all and see what they think. I know the hospitals I have gone to will give you copies of the scans or can send them directly to your doctor. This might help answer some of your questions.
