Business owners, what do you think of DTV's free NFL for individuals?
DTV is giving NFL ticket to individuals FOR FREE! Yet, they are charging us full boat because, according to them, "it brings in business". Well, if people can get the same thing at home for free, why would they come out to bars and restaurants? You can't have it both ways. We are angry. We feel like they broke an implied contract. We are going to closely monitor the crowds this year, and if it drops, we are dropping NFL ticket. What do you think?

I think you are being short sighted.
There is never an agreement that residential customers have the same benefits as business customers.
Since the telephone was born, business customers have always paid more for these types of services. Cable / Satellite is no different.
There are plenty of people who like to watch games out in public.
If you want you can cancel, but my guess that will only bring more business to your neighbors establishment.
