Has the debate about being born homosexual ended?

I've wondered this for a while. Has there been evidence presented that shows without a shadow of a doubt that individuals are born gay? I've not heard anything about it. I haven't done a great deal of research on it either. I don't understand homosexuality and don't have much of an issue with it. If that's who you are then it is what it is. I was just wondering are people really born this way or does something happen or not happen in their development that leads to homosexuality?

I think people will basically **** anyone if they're bored enough, but society has created "Sexually Identity", so I'd say being a homosexual is social.

There are certain places and time periods homosexuality has been more frequent. In ancient Greece there was tons of public homosexuality, but in the middle ages there wasn't. I think this emphasizes my point that it's a social construct. If people are born gay, there'd be a constant gay presence not one that changes depending on society.

Society condones and condemns gays depending on culture. Animals don't care, they usually screw females for reproduction, but lots of animals go both ways. If all male animals are in captivity they will **** each other. We also see this with humans in prisons, boarding schools, and other one gender environments.

People wanna ****, they'll **** whatever is available to ****. Sexual identity is a social construct. Straight and gay sex are both fine and natural. But identifying as gay or straight? Social construct.

Even Kinsey said nobody is all gay or straight.

There isn't evidence but common sense suggests that if they were born straight, they wouldn't just decide to be gay, it's be against their instinct and they would eventually succumb to their lust for women.

Therefore they are either born that way, or slowly transferred into homosexuality due to influence. I'm not going to debate which one, but these two are what it comes down to.

I believe that some kids are born with certain tendencies and we as society categorize them and then the child grows up believing thats who she or he is. For instance you have a boy who has certain mannerisms society (ie. family schools etc) will then gender categorize them. I remember when my little brother was 4 and he wore one of my baretts in his hair and he went to my dad..smh needless to say that was the last time I ever saw my brother wear or act feminine. Bottom line I dont think you are born either gay straight or whatever.

Nowadays there is an unusally high number of teenage girls claiming to be bisexual but I think they're more like confused.

No, it hasn't. But some people find it convenient to claim it has.

I think this is the best way to settle it. I'm going to assume that you're a male and that you're attracted to women.

How old were you when you CHOSE to like women?

You were probably born that way.

Look up prenatal hormones (androgens) in pregnant women.
