George Washington question deleted?

I asked about this in the Yahoo section, this was the best answer I saw.

Deletions are responses from members, not yahoo staff.

So something might be deleted for casual reasons. Staff only bother to examine these if an appeal is lodged. Since many of the look at this, now tell me what you think questions aren't real questions, they might not get upheld. All those questions that start "Why do cons" or "why do liberals" if deleted will not be held up.

Your question for instance, once deleted, wouldn't be upheld because just like fight club, one of the rules of Yahoo answers is that you can't talk about yahoo answers. Discussions of how the system is being gamed by the best answerers are forbidden. So you aren't allowed to speculate that the same people who formerly gamed the system with multiple accounts, are now gaming the system by silencing dissent.

There can be various reasons. Maybe the person who asked the question deleted it, maybe somebody reported it, people on yahoo report things for very moronic reasons.
