You are correct that science can explain a lot of things. However, science is still unable to explain the complexities of the universe. Evolution has a number of missing links, and the Big Bang theory isn't complete either. Because of the infinite number of combinations of all things that work together, I have to believe that someone more intelligent than you and I created it. Call them God? For me yes. Many Sunday School teachers, teach things based totally on blind faith, which is fine, but causes people like you and I to question religion. Therefore, you and I have to search for the answers to the universe for ourselves. You need to have an open mind, read everything, and compare science to God. As for answering your question, you already know the answer to that. God doesn't send anyone to hell. By not choosing Jesus as our Savior, we send ourselves there. Just continue to search for the knowledge you desire, and you will figure everything out for yourself. But, I get the feeling that you will not base your principles on things that other people say; instead you will eventually make up your own mind.

We aren't sent to hell for not believing in God, we are sent there because we are unrepentant sinners, separated from God by our wilful disobedience which is evil. We are spiritually dead and the spiritually dead go to hell. The good news is that God has let us know that and has made provision for our redemption through his Son, Jesus Christ, so that we CAN be redeemed to God once again.
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), and, the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) Ultimate good cannot abide the presence of ultimate evil. Good and evil exist on earth, only because God has allowed the devil and man to wallow in their choices so to speak. This will soon come to an end. Every single being that does not accept Christ as saviour and refuses the gift of becoming a child of God, are and remain the children of wrath, the children of disobedience. They continue to be of their father, the devil (John 8:44).
Thankfully we were given free will to make the choice and thus control our own destinies. Will you remain separated from God? Or will you choose to spend an eternity with the one who not only loves you unconditionally, but IS love?

Answer: Absolutely.
More: If you didn't go to hell, you would be \with the Lord for an
eternity. If you dont believe in Him, why would you want to be
in heaven with Him eternally? I guess you're in a lose/lose
situation.
Advice: You're not dead yet, so there's still time to get back to
your rightful childhood belief in the God of the Bible, repent,
and receive God's blessings the rest of your life here on this
earth, and then a blessed eternity.

You don't go to hell because of being a Christian/Atheist/Muslim etc.
Hell is the resultant punishment for your sin on earth. You have done wrong and it must be paid for. Its a simple concept of crime and punishment. Hell in reality is not an alternative. It is the default.
Everyone who has sinned (everyone) is guilty and must be held for their crimes.
Here is where Jesus comes in. He said "Put this on me, I will take this sin, so that people can live with God. He took the punishment for the crime. This is what Jesus did for us.
But to accept the sacrifice you must believe in God, unless you can somehow believe in the son of God and not God.

first of all you are wrong about science. it is all theory because no one observed it. I was an agnostic for a long time cause I could not believe in any ultimate reality. I realized you have to have faith in what you believe even it you can not explain it. Believing in god will not send you to heaven or hell. You have to be saved. even the devil believes in god that is not enough you have to simply accept the gift god is offering you. admitting you are a sinner and that god died to pay your sin debt and all of ours.

I can understand how your a little confused about how the world got here. im not 100% sure how science claim how we got here but its better to believe someone created it then to believe all this came from nothing. if things were just popping up out of nothing why isn't it still happening? if stuff was popping up randomly then im sure somebody made it pop up there the bible explains how the world came into existence in the first chap of the bible. at least we have proof from a book that was written thousands of years ago how the world cam into existence..think about it the earth is set at a perfect distance from the sun. if it was too close we wud burn up but if we were too far we would freeze but its set at a perfect distance away from the sun. how is that possible with the chance of stufff randomly popping up. for example. if i randomly threw a bag of marbles on a table what are my chance they all will create a perfect circle... my chances are zero. that's the same with the world and how it was created for humankind, the chances of stuff randomly popping up is zero. the earth was created to sustain life. science can support the existence of gravity even tho we cant see it. but we knw it exist. well the bible supports the existence of god even tho we cant see him we knw he exist because he created all things. the bible foretold the earth was round thousands of years before science.existed. (Isaiah 40:22) (job 26:7) and before Christopher Columbus.
people can believe what they want but truth is that there is a creator that created all things jst like somebody created the house you live in and the clothes you wear. they jst didnt magically appear on you. im not sure how your Sunday school teacher taught you. but i hope this helps you get a better understanding please follow link if you want to knw the truth about creation and how we got here

i can assure you that when you die you will not be burn for eternity in a burning hell. the Greek meaning of hell is grave.. not fiery torment, alot of religions teach it but its not supported by the bible. when you die you,ll goto ur grave "wages of sin is death" not fiery torment forever (Romans 6:23) click on link and see the truth for yourself

You will go to hell, but not because you don't believe in God, but because of your sins. We will all be judged according to our deeds right? And since all of us have sinned, all of us will go to Hell. But God does not want that to happen, that's why He sent Jesus to die for our sins and whoever believes in Him will be saved. He is like our attorney in God's court of justice. If you don't ask for Jesus' help, you won't have an attorney, you'll have to defend yourself on your own in front of God, the judge.
But if you've already made a decision to let go of Jesus and put your faith in science, it's your choice, just hope for the best.

Honestly, you are old enough and you have made the decision to reject Christ. If you died tonight, you would go to Hell by your choice. But Heaven is not the only goal of faith. You also get the Holy Spirit in your heart to guide you. But the good news is that any time you can change you mind and heart and God would welcome your faith and love.

For the sake of argument, Christians believe there is God that sends people to hell.
Based on the Christian Bible within the story of Job, you can be punished for being good and believing in God as well.
It is at God's pleasure to what ever he pleases with people, according to Christians.

Yes, you'll be sent to hell. Think about it, would God let you into heaven? doubt it. btw, hell isn't where Satan tortures you, its actually where God will torture you and the devil. Hell wasn't made for humans, but theres no other place to send a sinful human
