Book about The Wild Hunt?

Ok there was this book a read a while ago that was about a school of magic. The main charcter was a female orphan who when tested for magic didnt have any or it wasnt showing up yet. Also the main bad guy in the first book was the Wild hunt which was a combination of elves, ghost and leading it was a demon which they had to defeat. Buy any ways any ideas would help thanks in advanced.

    My Fiance, who is a HUGE Mercedes Lackey fan, says she's read that exact book and the title is "Legacies" it's part of a series called "Shadow Grail"
