New goldfish getting bullied?

I bought a red cap oranda yesterday and added it to my current tank which contains a black moor and a calico oranda, both orandas are a similar size the black moor is bigger. Since introducing the new fish the other two dont seem to leave it alone, some of there behavior is quite agressive like pinning it to the side of the tank and kind of slamming into it?. Today they still seem to be following it around constantly. Im not sure if its a mating thing? ( not sure if the fish is male or female) or just bullying?. Im not sure what the best way to deal with this is?

Update:

Ive had three fish in the tank before, i previously had an old lionhead goldfish which was much bigger than the new fish ive got and bigger than the other two also.

if its not down to overcrowding then its due to territorial behaviour, in which case you should take out the fish, restyle the aquarium so there territories arn't recognisable and add them all at the same time,if it persists and its not due to either of the factors that i have mentioned then i dont know, sorry.

Sounds like you've got too many fish in too small a space and you're having aggression issues as a result.

Of course, since you don't mention anything about your tank, that's just a guess.

Whatever the problem is, that's not normal behavior. The new fish needs to be separated, or he'll be bullied to death.

I think the best way to deal with it is returning the new fish

If it's stressed and in a completely new environment and dealing with that kind of aggression it wouldn't surprise me if illness sets in quickly (ich etc) which will affect the other two, and you'll have one big mess on your hands

But I definitely agree with the others, that's not normal behaviour

i agree with the first answer. my goldfish did that cuz of the space but you just wait until the new guy fights back and then the goldfish become friends. my goldfish mango bit my giant fish cosmos and then became friends. then mango tried to mate cuz he was a male. look up how to find genders between goldfish and figure it out.

Tell it the other fish are jealous and that he has nothing to fear because they're just insecure about themselves and are beaten at home.

Also, sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.

there fine and maybe the tank is to small a 60 gallon for all of them to be happy
