What snack should I take with me?

I have dance auditions Thursday and they'll be going for about 3 hours. The instructor told us all to bring a lot of water and a snack. What snack would be good? I need something that will give me energy but keep me full at the same time, so I need protein and carbohydrates. I was thinking maybe half of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and some almonds or raisins or something? Any healthy snack ideas? :)

    Thats a good idea :)

    Here are some other ideas:

    - Hard boiled egg + almonds or greek yogurt or cottage cheese

    - Trail mix + apple

    - Fruit/berries + greek yogurt or cottage cheese

    - Apple slices with almond butter or peanut butter

    - Veggies with hummus - like raw carrot sticks, cucumber slices or sticks, cherry tomatoes sliced, lightly steamed broccoli, slices of bell pepper, etc. You could also add in some whole wheat pita to dip.

    - Whole grain crackers with cheese or hummus

    - Whole grain crackers with cheese + grapes

    - Small whole grain tortilla with almond or peanut butter & natural jam or sliced banana

    - Kashi granola bar, Kind fruit & nut bar, Lara bar (healthy snack bars) + greek yogurt or a fruit

    - Fruit salad + a greek yogurt

    Fruit combination ideas:

    ~ Strawberries, kiwi

    ~ Watermelon, grapes, strawberries

    ~ Banana, mango, pineapple

    ~ Watermelon, honeydew melon, pineapple

    ~ Raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries

    ~ Apple or pear, strawberries

    - Homemade smoothie: using fruit/berries of your choice with milk or non-dairy milk like soy, almond, rice or coconut milk with nonfat yogurt, you can also add 1-2 tbsp ground flax seed.

    - Almonds, dried apricots or a piece of fruit

    - Buckwheat pancake or waffle with greek yogurt and berries

    I hope this helps :)
