Help with poem for a girl I like!?

Oh how I long to explore America

To climb her mountains

And enter her valleys

My heart longs to

taste of her fruit

Land of opportunity

My beautiful America

Poetry is only honest and true and SPECIAL when you write it yourself and have the pride of making her happy. So I wont write you a poem but Ill give you some tips.

1) Her name is amazingly unique and usable because it is America which stands for a lot. Sooo Make a reference to freedom, meaning a lot, being special, whatever comes to mind.

2) It doesn't have to stay in one form. I love to switch between free verse, couplets and 4 line stanzas. Just say what comes from your heart. Include how you feel.

3) When trying to rhyme either go through the alphabet changing the first letter of the rest of the word (IE trying to rhyme Band, go And, Band, Cand, Dand, Eand, Fand, Hand, Iand, Jand, Kand, Land, Mand, Nand, Oand, Pand, Quand, Rand, Sand, Tand, Uand, Vand, Wan, Xand, Yand, Zand) and then if one pops out at you (Ie, And, Hand, Land, and Sand) then think of a way one of them relates to use it. (IE I love the music in your band, It makes me want to hold your hand). If you are not good at this try using the rhyme dictionary (http://www.rhymezone.com/) to help you.

4) Edit Edit Edit. Pay attention to syllables so the poem flows, make sure they are about equal on lines that rhyme. If you are going free verse just make sure they flow well.

Just write whatever comes to mind. Its called free verse. Even if it sounds bad at first just go with it. ITs your feelings and you can't expect us to write exactly whats on your mind.

America sets me free

Both in my mind and physically

I can let go

I can touch

To see my life

Let go of rough

I love her all

I love her being

Its in America I was free

Because in her arms

I was me

To be myself

In mind and physically
