Gore compared the struggle against racism in the South to his personal crusade to convert climate change skeptics.

This statement is so dumb that its almost funny. I wish the interviewer had enough courage to remind Gore that HIS FATHER was the bigoted,segregationist, RACIST, senator from Tennessee and that the KKK was the Terrorist Arm of the DEMOCRAT party!

It's a disgraceful comparison.

I'm surprised at Al Gore, but there's something rotten in US politics at the moment. 

Extremism seems to be the most popular form of politics, and all the politicians have embraced it.

I guess Gore doesn't think anyone knows that and I'm sure that the interviewer doesn't know it. Even if the interviewer does know it, s/he probably agrees with him and wouldn't dare ask him anything controversial. They don't do that much anymore. Regardless, it IS foolish to make climate as important as human beings.

And nuts still think the presidency was stolen from him. Yeah, by God who knew what a disaster that would have been. lol
