What is a good, well priced, First longboard deck?

I have read up a lot on longboards, and although i know what I'm looking in terms of the characteristics of the board, i don't know which brands to look at or which decks will be what I'm looking for.

I'm pretty set on a low flex 40" drop through deck, and I'm trying to keep price as low as possible without skimping on things that won't break.

I'm not going to be doing sliding, mainly just "commuting" or cruising, but there are some hills around where I live, so I'm not looking for a board for flat areas. Sector 9 I've been told by a few people is pretty good, but I try not to be brand-myopic.

Trucks, wheels, and bearings aren't an issue, as they have less factors and i know what I need.

I'm a bigger guy (6'1", around 200lbs) so that may play a factor.

What are some decks that would be good for me?

Thanks!

I would not recommend Sector 9 boards from department stores such as Zumiez or large sport stores.

If you want a stiffer symmetrical drop through for a good price I recommend a Earthwing Supermodel, Jet Crossfire, Jet Doppler, Kracked Skull Scimitar.

Goodd decks for cheap prices i would say the gravity boards like the kalai or others, or like ryan said the earthwing decks.
