What qualities make God worthy of worship (Atheists/Theists/All/Any)?

Okay, let's try again. This time, everyone!

Instead of discussing whether or not God exists, I'd like to know: what qualities make God worthy of worship?

I'm not really looking for holy text quotes, more your own ideas.

Update:

Being the creator of everything hardly makes someone worthy of worship. If that was he case, you would worship God even if he tortured babies and kittens for fun.

But thank you for your answers!

Update 2:

I'm not asking about any God in particular, so mentioning the "crimes" of a particular God doesn't really address the question.

Let me set up the scene better: you discover that the TRUE GOD is actually some being you never thought of before and know nothing about. What qualities does this God need to have in order to be worthy of your worship?

God is Worthy of Worship because he created everything, and everyone he is unlike any thing neither male nor female has no weakness is not related to anything either. All powerful and knowledgeable. Has no begining nor end. He is the Creator. Hope this helps.

God does not need any quality to be worthy of being worshiped. He is God already, He is not applying for that position. He does not need to prove himself to his creations, we on the other hand, needs to prove a lot to be worthy of salvation from the pits that we keep digging.

We worship God as we have a need to worship God. Some people if not most, need to report into a higher authority, so that is the reason why people pray.

I don't think God Whoever or whatever she iz WANTS to be worshiped, just for us to get along and stop[ hurting each other with words and weapons. And Why is it that Christians think God CREATOR OF EVERYTHING loves them most seems a little arrogant to me. Jus sayin

For creating a race of humans directly from inbreeding, then killing everyone a while later with a giant flood just because they didn't like him, then making kids in Africa starve to death and giving innocent people cancer.

    Oh, wait... wrong list.

I would think that just the idea of this marvelous creation, and then accomplishing that idea, something that no one else has been able to do...would put God in that category.

The christian one? Nothing. The bad outweighs and cancels out the good.
