Do macs use a tower or what?
I know they have to use some type of tower. We have a mac monitor and someone told me that that's all we need to make it work. I'm not familiar with macs sooo yeah aha.

Well Apple used towers back in the mid 90s and they still use a tower with the Mac Pro, but what I think you're referring to is the new iMac, which looks like a monitor. It's flat and either white (the older ones) or silver. Earlier iMacs, the ones from the late 90s to early 2000s use a CRT monitor and are therefore fatter, but they also have a complete computer. They are grey/white in front and a transparent color in back. Apple did sell some monitors though, like the Cinema Display, but I doubt this is what you have.

You can get a tower, but the most modern ones generally are just the monitor. If you press the monitors power button and mac doesn't start up, you need a tower and the monitor is just a monitor.
