I certainly wouldn't mind living in Israel, to say the least. It's a great country, even if it has a undeserved bad reputation.

As someone who lives in israel, I'd say it's somewhere in the middle. Some places are more developed, some less. Also, the stupid government won't invest money into rebuilding old buildings, so not all the sighs are pretty. As for the universities and everything. it's pretty good. I think people exaggerate.

The idiot who said Israel is for the zionists, this is not correct. most of the people here are not at all religious, and there are a lot of people who immigrated to Israel after the "Perestroika" or Restructuring

in the USSR in the 80's. Most of them are atheists. So don't say things you know nothing about.

If you are Jewish then its a good place to live in. but if you are a Palestinian its a very bad place for you to live.

Israel is only developing because it has America and Europe's Golden plates on its side of the bed.

Germany was also a strong developed country in 1939 and a hundred times more powerfull than Israel but I would still put Israel on par with Germany for more reasons than just a strong economy

Bad country. They're economy is in the tumbles. It's horrible...no jobs, bad education, no health care.

Israel is most democratic country but there is culture and mentality is not ideal for standard of living.

I would not willingly live anywhere else.

This is my home. In spite of everything, I feel safer in Israel then in the UK, where I was born, and the USA and Europe where I have traveled extensively.

Relations between Jews and Arabs depend entirely on the willingness of each party to co-exist. Those Arabs and members of other ethnic groups who make a life for themselves know when they are well off.
