Who's your favorite TV cop(s)?

I don't actually watch TV now, but I did enjoy Chuck Norris as "Walker Texas Ranger". He was a good guy at heart, quiet, but strong. You could depend on him. He was loyal and had a sense of principle. He protected the weaker. I liked his character. I've seen the new show "Blue Bloods" a few times while house sitting for friends. I like Tom Selleck's character as a man who loves and protects his family,.he's a strong man and age has brought him a bit of wisdom, he's a good policeman who "won't play the game" and knows right from wrong, yet has human flaws that are revealed at times. He loves those Sunday dinners with family and he loves the job. Hard to not like Tom Selleck in anything he does.!
