I have a child which has a XBox 360 and is asking for a game. He has a budget of £10(16 dollars). It could be Kinect compatible or not, but remember £10(16 dollars). And if the game is 18+ I will have to see why it is 18+ and then I will decide.
He already has Kinect Adventures and Forza Motorsport 3.

One of my favorite childlike games is Viva Piñata. It's pretty addicting whether you're a boy or girl.
You could also check out the xbox live arcade for some fun games. They're cheap and can last a long time.

If you want to go with the small budget, then don't be afraid to check out the Xbox Live Arcade. They have a large variety of games there all for under 16 dollars. Fast and easy to download.
