why do people think yaoi is bad? or is bad? or what?

I love yaoi also :). Especially Naruto & Sasuke, those two are adorable together. But some people are just homophobes, if they don't like yaoi, hey they're loss :)

There are usually more girls than boys who are okay with yaoi. Some months ago I had this talk with a Naruto x Hinata supporter and she told me that she wouldn't want Naruto and Sasuke to end up together in the manga, but she had absolutely nothing against SasuNaru Doujinshis or anything else related to SasuNaru. It's actually the same with me,too. I love Sasuke x Naruto and I would be sad if Naruto doesn't end up with him, but why would I bash the NaruHina fandom? That doesn't make sense to me. And then there are the boys who easily get enraged whenever they see something with yaoi. But then again most guys are okay with yuri. That's pretty hypocritical if you ask me.But I think it's just human nature, girls don't mind yaoi and guys don't mind yuri. Being a straight girl myself I've always found straight anime couples incredibly boring and my very first (and only) yaoi couple is Sasuke x Naruto. Whenever I meet an anti-shounen ai (I prefer saying shounen ai, because "boy love" sounds less sexual than yaoi - not all fanfics or animes are rated mature) guy who tells me that SasuNaru is wrong on how many levels, I ask him if he would still be anti-SasuNaru if Sasuke was a girl. Then the whole story line would be about a guy named Naruto who desperately tries to get a girl named Sasuke back to their village, no matter what. That usually leaves them speechless :) And yeah the bible..? According to the bible we aren't even allowed to get earrings or tattoos,so.... I don't think this whole church stuff should be involved with yaoi at all. And as you said before, it IS way better to watch a yaoi anime or to read yaoi fanfictions instead of searching for real porn online, because it is only fiction. So no, yaoi is not bad at all. Think about it - Are fairy tales such as Snow White bad, just because a young girl gets poisoned? No, it isn't. It's only fiction. And even if yaoi was real, what would be so wrong about it? Love is love, I don't think sex should matter.

Because it brings out the gay stereotypes. And anti yaoi/yuri is /not/ anti gay, Addie. I support LGBT pride but hate yaoi/yuri. Most yaoi/yuri fans pair perfectly straight characters together who are best friends, acquaintances, rivals, arch enemies, allies, siblings, etc., and make them gay. They also portray gay relationships so inaccurately it's cringeworthy. It's mostly this seem/uke crap where you have this young, cute sissy boy/slutty girl who enjoys getting raped by an older, overly dominant seme. If this is how they see gay relationships, or what they think it should be in real life, then they need to hang out with real life gays. They're like heterosexual people but are into the same sex.

OHH GOD NARUTO AND SASUKE CANT BE TOGETHER OR IT WILL JUST DESTROY THE WHOLE PLOT!
