Can you get a yahoo answers member banned?
So I've been following this guy around yahoo answers, and reporting his posts as spam, because they are. He posts the same thing in every answer. He sais Lread about it here.". Then gives a very shady looking URL. If I report enough of his answers will he be banned from posting?

You are correct with it being a dodgy link. There is a more efficient way of removing these guys who are putting out spam and malware. Go to the suggestion board where there is a thread on which many users are tackling this problem.

Yes, but spammers always make new accounts. Usually they're operating under several accounts at once.

Most spammers have 8 to 10 accounts and are spamming from all of them, losing one won't matter to them. I wish we could do something about them.
