Are you an ex Liberal? Care to tell your story?

I dabbled with Liberalism around the time of the 2004 elections. And have been glad I changed my mind ever since. 

The MSM is so blatantly disproportionate, I was humble enough to wonder that I may simply be following the crowd or leaning toward the viewpoints I have the most exposure to.  

But mostly I was tired of the confusion, conflicting narratives, aggressive intolerance to any dissent. And completely immeasurable  statements of exaggeration, misrepresentation and slander. 

Still to this day, its getting even worse... All these people still screaming "Fox Lies" when that's the ONLY place on television where even remotely different political views can be expressed. 

AND I hear so much about "Social" liberalism,(which means nothing, social norms are established by the people) and honestly the Liberal Social norms seem delusional.  Why can't liberals talk about the "fiscal" policy?? Does such a policy even exist?? Other than bail outs that waste tons of money and money doesn't trickle down at all. 

But I mostly would never refer to myself as a liberal because I despise the propaganda. Sure Fox News probably has lied... But in today's media Im choosing the liars I like most. 

 I see Fox  held to a higher standard than any other left of center drive-by media outlets. However, don't have the spine to do in-depth reporting like other conservative media outlets on internet and radio. 

It was literally 1000 to 1 advantage by time Obama went into office.. You can see liberal disclaimers in movies, television, internet... everywhere.  I'm just happy the tide is turning.

I'm not a neo-Con, Not really a Libertarian.. However, I'm most certainly anti-liberal

You are wrong on progressive.

Now people need to know what a progressive REALLY is.

Todays liberals are NOT the same liberals of the past..
I am not a democrat but would like to know when the democrats are going to reclaim their party.

Republicans & Democrats use to work things out for the benefit of our people & country. Since the progressives entered on the scene they have been working at dividing us to take us over.

I see everyone running around thinking progressive means progress.

Why do so many people think progress is associated with Progressives? Is it because the word progress is in progressive? If that is their basis. Is Marxism progress? Progressive would be more accurate if it was compared to a progressive cancer.


The progressives are their own party and hijacked the democratic party using the liberal label. The progressive party never could get anyone elected. That is why they hijacked and are running the democratic party. 

Progressivism is not just an idea but the practice that the government knows best and has full control and ownership over everything including people. Progressivism does not believe in government as it is now. With that I mean progressivism does not believe that representation of the people is needed because the executive branch runs everything and knows what is best. People are the property of the government like animals are owned by people. There is no such thing as peoples rights such as freedom, privacy, individualism etc. If you have ever seen the Borg on Star Trek that would be similar.
Progressivism operates under the facade of appearing to be a government doing what is best for the people without their input and silencing all opposition.
Progressivism goal is Marxism.

The only concern is that politicians on both sides tend to look to emotional issues so they can justify rounding up to the nearest trillion. On the right, watch for religion, 'social issues', and war. On the left progressives favor steroidial economic intervention we've seen under recent presidents. Libertarian is the opposite of both.

I really liked and voted for Obama then got sent to "Prison" where I had plenty of time to read and be oppressed by my masters after which I discovered that I prefer to make my own destiny instead of allowing others to make it for me. Sitting back and watching things unfold really opened my eyes to not only liberal and Con failures but the failures of our entire system.
