6.5 swede question............?

can anyone tell me what a fair price on one of the Carl Gustav rifles that was sporterized by Kimber of America would be? It's a 6.5 Swede in a Ramline stock, the barrel's been cut and re-crowned....from the pics, it looks like it's had an industrial chrome plating job done to it. I think that's what I'm looking at anyway....the rifle looks like it's stainless but I don't think that there are too many stainless steel 96 mausers running around out there.

if I could get it for a decent price, that scope is going right in the trash can......lol

I have no idea, but I am wasting an answer to say I really want to see a picture. I'm a big fan of Swedes, and while I like having military rifles in original configuration as well, I am not offended in the least to see one that has been beautifully sporterized.

You'd probably have to auction it off to know its value. If you plan to keep it, just give it a really high number and feel good about yourself!
