so i need someones input on this cuz im a little upset
Deshon Marman, a University of New Mexico football player was arrested and cited for trespassing after he was asked to exit a plane over saggy pants at the San Francisco International Airport.
Green Day rocker Billie Joe Armstrong has complained that he was booted from a Southwest Airlines flight in Oakland, California, because of the way he wore his pants."
The airline spokeman said "As soon as we became aware of what had happened, we reached out to apologize for this customer's experience," Hawkins said. "He elected to take the next flight."

Why did the football player get arrested but the singer jump on the next flight? i dont stand this at all

He was asked to pull his pants up, he refused. He was asked to leave the plane, again he refused and argued for 15-20 minutes before he was arrested for trespassing and restisted the officers who were called to the scene, not for having his underwear exposed:

it's up to the fligth attendent.
flight attendent A in san francisco might say "arrest this man"
but flight attendent B in New york might say "baggy pants? what ever, you can still take your seat."
fligth attendent C in Colorado might say "get off the flight, you will be rebooked." (meaning secutiry is not called.)
there is no written policy, just NEVER piss off a flight attendent.
