Just saw the movie "Apollo 18" last night (Sept. 3) and thought it was very interesting. The truth is, nothing can live (that's organic) in a vaccuum. Keep that in mind. I enjoyed it - my date did not.

No, it's not a true story. The Apollo 18 mission never happened. It was cancelled by the US Government.
The movie is about the crew of Apollo 18 on the moon encountering a hostile lifeform.

But if it is a true story, how did Warren Christie, star of Alphas on Syfy, get on the mission?

I don't think this is a true story. I reckon it's just an idea made for a scary movie, purely for entertainment and money-making purposes.
