Who cares, this issue has nothing to do with Travel-Italy.

  • That trial you are talking about, The evidence that was presented is at best circumstantial. What little evidence or witness testimony the prosecution had was ridiculous. The Jury had to take the prosecutor's word for it.

    His case was essentially

    1) Amanda is a liar, don't believe anything she says.

    2) That crap you read in the newspaper is true, Amanda confessed to the police that she was there during a Human sacrifice that she and other members of the Satanic cult she belonged to did.

    3) That stuff was inadmissable for this court, so let's just say they were playing a sex game, and Meredith wound up with a knife in her throat.

OK, I realize that what I am saying is the Italians should have tried this case the way we do things in Britain, and this idea is irrelavent because this happened in Italy and they do justice in a way that is completely different than our ways.

What must of happened is the police and the Judge and jury got together in the judge's chambers and the cops told them that they must find Amanda guilty, and they must forget about what was said in court or in the judge's chambers. Then the jury did what they were told to do, and kept their mouths shut.

    No

Knox was not convicted because of prosecutore Mignini's case.

The judges and jury know that is all bull****. The cops hid listening devices in Rafaele's apartment and heard he and Knox talk about Meridith. The prosecutor and the judges and the jury heard the recordings too. This was all done in secret. If the criminals knew they were bugged, they would not say anything incriminating, so the cops must keep this method secret in order for it to work.

The cops knew that Amanda was involved in the murder shortly after it happened because of what they heard on the recording. They could tell this to the judge and jury, but they can't talk about this in court, so Mignini thought up a way to get stupid people to believe that they found out that Amanda was involved from the "evidence" and the false testimony of the witnesses. The cops will secretly play the secret recordings to the new judges, and the new judge will uphold the verdict, and take the 5th if anyone as him why.

Yes, I think Amanda will be freed. The evidents that were used to convict her had been all tainted.

Paula: The first Monday in September is observed as Labor Day only in the U.S. For most of the rest of the world, it's celebrated on May 1st (May Day.) Just Google Labor Day (or Labour Day) and May Day and you'll see.

if you look at this question carefully, you will see it was not entered in "travel Italy" it was entered in Perugia.

In America, we think of Perugia as that town where Amanda Knox lives. Therefore Perugia is like "Knox City" to us.

the people who care are Amanda's friends, as well as all the people interested in the adventures of Amanda, and that wacky prosecutor Migninny.

They already know how ridicalous the case is.

They will find her guilty again, due to the secret evidence.

Only one way to tell but judging by just how screwed up the Italian justice system is don't count on it.
