The Winnipeg Jets are back?

The move was announced in June...it was all over the internets.

Winnipeg is playing in the Southeast Division (playing Atlanta's schedule) because the master schedule was already done and the league did not have time to redo the schedule. They will move to the Western Conference for the 2012-13 season (the league will handle any re-alignment issues at that time).

Atlanta Spirit sold the Atlanta Thrashers to True North Sports and Entertainment, who immediately relocated them to Winnipeg, brought back the Jets name, and rebranded the old concept. Since schedules were already made out by then, the Jets will be playing as if they were still the Thrashers and will likely be moved to the Northwest or Central Division next season.

Since early this summer. They did not have enough time to realign the divisions for the upcoming season but it is expected to happen for the 2012-2013 season.

They are still the Thrashers, just renamed, rebranded, relocated and will be playing in the SE division

i'm no longer probable a Jets fan, yet i like the hot variety, won't be able to attend to be certain the jerseys. desire they do no longer finally end up in the Oilers branch in 12-13, i choose them to do properly yet I won't cheer for them in the event that they are.
