    "A Boy Named Sue" reached No. 1 on the country charts and No. 2 on the U.S. Top Ten pop charts.

    "I Walk the Line" reached No. 1 on the country charts and entered the pop charts Top 20, as well as "Ring Of Fire."

    And also, Cash's duet with June Carter, "Jackson", won a Grammy Award.

    So I guess you can say "A Boy Named Sue" which was orginally penned by Shel Silverstien, seems to be the most popular. That song was on the album 'San Quentin'.
