I JUST did this to a friend ipod because they disabled it for over 2 million minuets.....(This is the last chance option, if you really don't know the code... EVERYTHING WILL be deleted off the ipod)
HERE IS WHAT YOU DO!!!
1) Turn your ipod OFF.
2) open itunes up, and plug the usb part of the ipod cable in the computer, so plug in the one end and have the other sitting on the counter. DO NOT plug in the ipod to the other end of the cord, it will turn on ipod making you have to wait for it to turn on so you can turn it off again
3) HOLD the home button on the ipod and keep holding it down (The round button with the square shape), after about 2 seconds while still holding down the button plug the ipod cord that is sitting on the counter into the ipod, but KEEP HOLDING THE HOME BUTTON (very important)!!!! This resets the ipod to make it be seen by ituens
4) (HOLD THE HOME BUTTON FOR ABOUT 5 MIN) (maybe not that long but the point i'm saying is hold it down) While holding the home button you will see the apple logo come up, then a picture of itunes symbol with the usb picture will show up. Then it will come up on the computer saying that you ipod needs to restore and update, click restore and then new software will download and install on your ipod. AND IT WILL WORK AGAIN!
Source(s): HELLO! IS YOUR IPOD WORKING? I WILL CHANGE THE INSTRUCTIONS A BIT THIS IS A WAY THAT DOES WORK TRY IT AGAIN===OR TRY THIS- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uT8Utk5Tqg&feature... - 10 years ago
Usually when an ipod is disabled it has to do with ktyping in the wrong pass word too many times so just wait the time it says on the screen ( 1 min, 5 min, 20 min, 60 mins, ect.)
